OUTCOMES-BASED EDUCATION

    The purpose of this qualitative study is to understand the lived experiences of the students as the participants at a school in the Philippines. At this stage in the research, the lived experiences of the students will be generally defined as the emotions, experiences, feelings and processes that the students in a school who are undergoing outcomes-based education.

     

    The purpose of OBE is to yield the students to become output rather than input which focuses on their skills and results in the educational process. Which basically means that Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) is a student-centered curriculum which makes the students learn with minimal guidance to prepare them in the future.
